FIFA World Cup 2022 – Groups (A to H)

FIFA World Cup 2022 will take place from 21 November to 18 December 2022 and since it is taking place at the odd time of the season, the world cup group stage draw will take place on 1st April 2022. So far 15 teams have officially qualified for FIFA World Cup and we will have our final 32 teams by end of March 2022. After the group stage draw, we will update this page with final groups from A to H.

Group Stage Format:

32 teams will be divided into 4 draw pots on 1st April 2022 in the lavish group stage draw ceremony in Qatar. 1 team from each draw pot will be drawn into 8 separate groups giving us 8 groups of 4 teams each.

Every team plays against every other team in the group. This means 3 group matches for all 32 teams. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the first knockout round (round of 16). 3rd and 4th place teams from each group will be eliminated from the world cup.
