Tournament Schedule:

ICC T20 World cup 2022 is set to be played from 22 October to 13 November 2022. 16 teams will participate in the tournament which has the format of league and knockout system. First round will be played as a league system where top teams will Super 12 round which will also be the league system. 4 teams from Super 12 round will qualify as semifinalists.

Qualified Teams For T20 World Cup 2022:

A total of 16 teams will play in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Australia being the host and defending champions auto qualified. 11 highest ranked teams according to performance in the previous world cups qualified for the tournament as well. That makes 12 teams including the hosts. Four more teams will join the 12 already qualified teams after playing in the Global Qualifiers.
